The Client
Axon Moore is a leading full-service financial recruitment consultancy headquartered in Manchester. Axon Moore has been operating in the qualified accountancy market across the North West and Yorkshire for over 20 years and has established a strong reputation in this sector. Their mantra is ‘Connecting talent with opportunity’. The diverse range of companies in the North of England means they are able to introduce top-quality candidates to the region’s top businesses. Typical roles include Chief Financial Officers, Finance Directors, and Financial Controllers.
Axon Moore operates from four locations including Manchester, Leeds (Yorkshire), Chorley (Lancashire), and Stockton Heath (Cheshire). The initial time of contact was April 2021, when we were informed about their ambitions.
The Challenge
The goal was to significantly improve and modernise Axon Moore’s brand, reputation, and online presence. The project would include a total brand refresh, the design of a completely new website from scratch, upskilling staff, and an overhaul of all forms of external communications.
The Results
The project began in August 2021 and we immediately went to work on refreshing the Axon Moore brand. We kicked off a website project that included multiple international agencies. This launched successfully in February 2022. We undertook significant improvements in company literature such as client proposals as well as written content and imagery. We also trained 40 recruiters on LinkedIn best practices, creating a library of assets for them to tailor for advertising jobs to the market. We led the organisation of dozens of events, from Corporate Golf Days to an AGM in Portugal. We also used our expertise and experience to recruit an in-house Marketing Executive and Head of Marketing as part of an exit strategy at the 12-month and 18-month stages.
